You can learn kintsugi under the direct supervision of lacquer art restorer Hiro Kiyokawa.
漆芸修復師・清川廣樹が金継ぎの技法を直接お伝えします。
This is an 8 session class per season where you can learn how to restore cracks and chips of vessels with kintsugi .
The instructor, Hiro Kiyokawa, who has been involved in the restoration of temples, shrines, Buddhist statues, and lacquerware for about 50 years, will teach the classical technique of kintsugi, by using only natural materials .
金継ぎの基本的な割れと欠けの修復方法を学ぶことができる１シーズン８回のお教室です。
講師は、約50 年にわたり社寺仏閣や仏像、漆器の修復に携わってきた清川が、自然素材のみで行う古典的な技法による金継ぎを指導します。
